Late Lunch With Friends At Restoran Pin Sim, Menglembu.

Since my previous post about our golden girls' lunch at Restoran Pin Sim (you can read about it here), I have been back there a few more times. One was with my foodie friends, another one with hubby and the latest with hubby and friends.

The following were some of the food we ate at Restoran Pin Sim. I will only post 2 sets of lunch because the dishes we ordered were almost the same.

Lunch #1
Ordered a plate of tender and juicy bbq pork (char siew).
A plate of sweet sour veggie dish (choy keok).
A bowl of old cucumber soup boiled with pork rib.
We ate the above dishes with white rice.

Lunch #2
A plate of their signature noodle called "Sum see meen".
(3 types of strips - cuttlefish, mushroom, pork with noodle)
Stewed mutton with noodle, Chinese cabbage and wood fungus.
Sui Kow in soup with choy sum (dumplings in soup).
After lunch, it will be nice to have a sweet taste in the mouth.
Went to look for this nearby peanut pancake stall.
Nice to eat these peanut pancakes while they are still hot and fresh.
Pancakes that are packed with lots of peanuts!
So yummy and so satisfying!

Every one of these depends on you to give them daily food.
You supply it, and they gather it.
You open wide your hand to feed them,
and they are satisfied with all your bountiful provision.
(Psalm 108:28, The Living Bible-TLB)

  1. That pork looks delicious but you can keep the peanut pancake. I like peanuts but I cannot stand peanut butter so anything cooked with peanuts puts me off immediately!! Hope your Sunday is a good one Diane

    1. The filling is not peanut butter. It is crushed peanuts and sugar only. I wouldn't like peanut butter in my pancake too!

  5. I like to eat the sour vege. So nice to see the clean stall of the peanut pancake. Here, I only managed to find road side stalls selling the peanut pancakes next to longkang.

    1. This stall is away from the longkang. It has its own little shop.

    2. Yes, I know. I can see from your photo that it is a nice stall in a shop. That's why I say it is nice to see a clean stall unlike here.
