One Sunday after attending church, we had no idea what to eat for lunch. We were in Ipoh Garden, hubby was driving and he took a turn into Jalan Medan Ipoh 1E and we ended up at Kedai Kopi Sun Sun Cafe. We didn't know what is good here or what to order.
Out of all the stalls there, I came to this nasi lemak stall. I haven't eaten nasi lemak for a long time and what attracted me was the beef rendang.
Hubby ordered this plate of mee jawa.
We are not very fussy eaters. We enjoyed and finished our food.
Hot weather plus a heavy meal followed by an afternoon nap!
Kedai Kopi Sun Sun Cafe,
Jalan Medan Ipoh 1E, Medan Ipoh Bistari, Ipoh.
Later in the afternoon I was at the mini market and I had this craving for ice-cream. I ended up buying 2 instead of 1 because I couldn't decide which to buy.
I ate the black chocolate the moment I reached home.
I kept this in the freezer and ate it a few days later.
Between these 2, I preferred the black chocolate.

DeleteOoohhh...Ice cream after lunch! I like that very much :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Phong Hong. Ha ha! Once in a while can pamper myself! But not always!
DeleteI didn't know it at the time, but Ipoh has a higher standard of mee jawa. Easy to find too compared to in KL.
ReplyDeleteEh your 'black chocolate' Magnum is only the classic one... there is a 'Magnum Black'. :)
The black classic chocolate and white ones were what I found in the mini market. For the Magnum Black, I will have to go look elsewhere. Will keep this in mind. Lol!
DeleteLots of variety. What a yummy meal!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Lisa. Have a wonderful day!
DeleteWe eat here quite often. U chose right. The nasi Lemak wth beef rendang is nice. Seldom eat that nowadays. Usually go for either the pan mee or mee Jawa, both operated by the same owner. The noodles with "Liew" is nice too.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Irene. Next time I will try the pan mee or the liew. Thanks for the info. Have a good day!
