Sunday Lunch At Kedai Kopi Sun Sun Cafe, Ipoh.

One Sunday after attending church, we had no idea what to eat for lunch. We were in Ipoh Garden, hubby was driving and he took a turn into Jalan Medan Ipoh 1E and we ended up at Kedai Kopi Sun Sun Cafe. We didn't know what is good here or what to order.
Out of all the stalls there, I came to this nasi lemak stall. I haven't eaten nasi lemak for a long time and what attracted me was the beef rendang.
Hubby ordered this plate of mee jawa.
We are not very fussy eaters. We enjoyed and finished our food.
Hot weather plus a heavy meal followed by an afternoon nap!

Later in the afternoon I was at the mini market and I had this craving for ice-cream. I ended up buying 2 instead of 1 because I couldn't decide which to buy.
I ate the black chocolate the moment I reached home.
I kept this in the freezer and ate it a few days later.
Between these 2, I preferred the black chocolate.

Giving preferred treatment to rich people is
a clear case of selling one's soul for a piece of bread.

  15. Magnum never seems to go out of fashion - they really have a winning combo with the smooth creamy centre and chocolate coating.

  20. I didn't know it at the time, but Ipoh has a higher standard of mee jawa. Easy to find too compared to in KL.

Eh your 'black chocolate' Magnum is only the classic one... there is a 'Magnum Black'. :)

    1. The black classic chocolate and white ones were what I found in the mini market. For the Magnum Black, I will have to go look elsewhere. Will keep this in mind. Lol!

  21. We eat here quite often. U chose right. The nasi Lemak wth beef rendang is nice. Seldom eat that nowadays. Usually go for either the pan mee or mee Jawa, both operated by the same owner. The noodles with "Liew" is nice too.
