Last night hubby and I were supposed to have dinner with friends at Restoran "Shun Min" (in Cantonese, the signboard is written in Chinese) along Jalan Pasir Pinji. It was after a very heavy downpour with some parts of the road flooded with rain water and delayed us from reaching the restaurant early. We were to meet up with the other couple at the restaurant.
Our friends were early and they were waiting in their car parked at the roadside in front of the restaurant. The restaurant was closed and we agreed to adjourn to another nearby restaurant. And that was how we ended up at Restoran Peng Tau at 26, Jalan Bunga Raya 6, Taman Onn, Ipoh for our dinner. It was a weekday, Wednesday and there was no big crowd.

Yummy Deep Fried Pork Rib with special sauce.
I can't remember what it was called in Cantonese.
Stir Fried Mixed Vegetables with spicy prawn paste.
(The veggies consist of eggplant, long beans, stinking beans & okra)
None of us wanted rice, so we ordered the following noodles.
Flat rice noodle, stir fried with prawns, meat slices and greens (single portion).
We wanted to try 2 different types of "Loh Shu Fun" (short rice noodle). The above version is fried with chopped salted white radish, etc. (single portion).
And this version is fried with sambal belacan (single portion). Just nice for others but I prefer it to be more spicy.
Chili sauce and pickled green chilis to go with the noodles.
