Steamed Chicken Glutinous Rice At Restoran Yee Lock, Ipoh.

Whenever we are at Restoran Yee Lock, Jalan Raja Musa Aziz (formerly Anderson Road), we will usually order our breakfast from the curry noodle stall. But for this particular morning, I do not feel like eating noodle. So I went to the back to check out the kuih corner.
I saw a steamer with steamed buns and chicken glutinous rice. I suddenly felt like eating chicken glutinous rice so I ordered one.
I inverted it and this was how it looked without its mould.
I also ordered a piece of vegetable dumpling (chai kuih) to try.
As usual, hubby ordered his favourite curry noodle (dry version).
Our non-sweetened coffee. One black and one Kopi C (with milk) to start off a new day.

The LORD within her is righteous; he does no wrong.

Morning by morning he dispenses his justice,

and every new day he does not fail,

yet the unrighteous know no shame.

(Zephaniah 3:5, New International Version-NIV)

  3. Sometimes I also dont feel like having noodle for breakfast. I like dim sum once a while. Not so much of glutinuous rice because mostly are sweet. I like chai kueh though. Your kueh was very nicely shaped. ^^
