Curry Laksa At Madras Lane, Petaling Street.

Due to all the walking done on the first day, I slept soundly on the first night. I set the alarm to wake me up early so that I can take my time to go through my morning routine. I even had time to take some snapshots from my room window.
Sunrise and view from my hostel room.
Maybank tower on the left and KL tower in the centre.
Sun rising from behind the high rise buildings.
We have to go through Petaling Street to get to our breakfast destination.
After walking through the wet market, we have reached our destination.
Just look at all the ingredients for the Assam Laksa.
There are many breakfast choices to choose from.
Open air seating under the big umbrellas.
This is the famous Madras Lane Curry Laksa (curry noodle).
Generous portion of bean curd puffs, long bean and cockles.
The cockles all ended up in hubby's bowl.
Hubby's curry laksa with pork skin.
I really enjoyed the fried bean curd puffs (tau fo pok).
Don't know when will I get the chance to taste this delicious curry laksa again.
You need to squeeze the juice from one or two limes to the curry laksa for the extra oomph!
Some roast pork to go with the curry laksa.
You can add this to your bowl of curry laksa if it is not spicy enough.
A plate of "chee cheong fun" for those who doesn't like spicy food.
The black coffee here is good!
Walking to KL Wesley, the conference venue.
We had a full day conference session from 9 am to 4 pm.
1 heart 2 reach Out.
Morning tea and lunch provided. For lunch we had chicken rice prepacked from The Chicken Rice Shop.

Being punished isn't enjoyable while it is happening - it hurts!

But afterwards we can see the result,

a quiet growth in grace and character.

So take an new grip with your tired hands,

stand firm on your shaky legs, and mark out a straight,

smooth path for your feet so that those who follow you,

though weak and lame, will not fall and

hurt themselves but become strong.

  4. The curry noodle looked so thick and good. Cockles looked rather raw to me.

    1. I love the curry noodle but not the cockles. I seldom eat cockles plus it was too raw for me.

  5. I like a good squeeze of lime on my curry laksa too. Breaks up the creaminess a little.
