Bak Kut Teh For Dinner At Restoran Kam Sedap, Ipoh.

We wanted to have dinner at a popular restaurant but when we reached there, we saw that the place was filled up with customers and some were waiting to be seated. My friend then suggested that we might as well try a new place just a few shops down the road. According to her, this new place just started business on that very day. That was how we ended up taking Bak Kut Teh at Restoran Kam Sedap for dinner.
 Dinner for 4 people.
Bak Kut Teh - soup version (single portion) @ MYR 10.
Request for additional soup - no charge.
Bak Kut Teh - dry version (single portion) @ MYR 10.
This is very flavourful cooked with dried chilies, dried cuttlefish, ladies finger.
Taiwan Curry Chicken (single portion) @ MYR 6.
We ordered braised chicken feet but it was sold out.
We then ordered this tasty curry chicken to try.
Blanched green veggie (small) @ MYR 4.
Total cost of dinner for 4 people = MYR 31.30 (incl. warm water & tea).

It is a corner shop with an empty open space on the right side.
It is cooler to sit under the open sky than inside the shop but we chose not to because it looked like it was going to rain. As we were leaving, it started to drizzle.
Address: No. 115, Lengkok Desa Rishah 1, Desa Rishah, Ipoh.
We had the Bak Kut Teh dinner on the last day of March and it was a Saturday. The day started with this beautiful sunrise captured at 8 am.
And the day ended with this evening sky captured at 6.25 pm.
God's Son shines out with God's glory,
and all that God's Son is and does marks him as God.
He regulates the universe by the mighty power of his command.
He is the one who died to cleanse us and clear our record of all sin,
and then sat down in highest honor beside the great God of heaven.
(Hebrews 1:3, The Living Bible-TLB)

  13. It looks like you picked a great place. What is that old joke about "no one goes there any more, it is too crowded!"

    1. Yes, I agree that some food in Ipoh is getting pretty pricey! This one newly opened, have to wait if they will increase the price later!

  15. Our bkt soup is usually lighter in colour and has a peppery taste, your bkt soup looks darker, maybe because ot is herbal bkt

    1. The bkt colour varies from shop to shop. Some are darker probably due to the dark sauce added to the soup.
