Sometimes I planned what to cook for the next day's dinner and before I go to sleep, I will take out the frozen items from the freezer and placed it on the lower shelf to thaw in time for me to prepare dinner.
As usual our day started with our morning walk at the park.
Not much of a sunrise.
Showing off my Cockscomb flower.
Now waiting for new plants to grow from the ground.
I cooked the following food for dinner.
2 slices of steamed Red Snapper fish with ginger, garlic, chilies, & sauce.
Fish caught by elder son, from one of his off-shore fishing trips.
Steamed salted fish with ginger, garlic & chili.
Hubby not a fan of fish but he loves salted fish.
Home grown dwarf long beans and eggplants with spicy dried prawn paste.
Hubby had dinner with steamed rice.
I had mine with oat porridge.

Golden Flower (Bunga Mas)
The Golden Flower (Bunga Mas) is made of quality gold. It was a special gift sent triennial by the Sultans of the Northern Malay States of Kedah, Kelantan, Trengganu and Patani to the once powerful King of Siam in Bangkok as a symbol of friendship. The sending of the Golden Flower began in the 14th century in a colourful ceremony accompanied by four spears with gilded shafts, a keris encrusted with precious stones, a spittoon, a tobacco box, a bouquet of betel leaves and two rings. The King of Siam reciprocated with gifts of similar value. The practice of sending the Golden Flower was discontinued by the end of the 19th century.
And I gave them the Sabbath - a day of rest every seventh day -
as a symbol between them and me, to remind them that it is I, the Lord,
who sanctifies them - that they are truly my people.
(Ezekiel 20:12, The Living Bible-TLB)
