Woke up early on the 1st day of Chinese New Year 2020. This year our friends came over to join us for breakfast. While waiting for our friends, I quickly snapped these sunrise shots. My concern is to cook the 2 main meals, i.e. lunch and dinner for the family. Since we didn't go anywhere, I have the time to post and blog hop.
Sunrise at 7:55 am.
While waiting, I also watered my plants.
Can you see the black spots? They are birds.
Most of the coffee shops were closed.
The ones that were opened enjoyed roaring business.

Home cooked lunch - 1st day of CNY 2020.
Blanched broccoli, drizzled with garlic oil, soy sauce and oyster sauce.
Stewed chicken claws with dried mushrooms and napa cabbages.
Leftover steamed chicken from the reunion dinner.
I sprinkled some salt over the chicken before placing them in the fridge.
Now after re-heating the chicken, it tasted like salted chicken.
For we speak as messengers from God,
trusted by him to tell the truth;
we change his message not one bit
to suit the taste of those who hear it; for we serve God alone,
who examines our hearts' deepest thoughts.
(1 Thessalonians 2:4, The Living Bible-TLB)
Beatiful sunset and very healthy food :)
