Simple And Fast Dinner At Restoran WK Claypot House, Ipoh

One evening I came home late from a house visitation. Hubby was hungry and he suggested we eat out. One of our regular place is Restoran WK Claypot House. Here we can choose to order clay pot chicken rice or order pre-cooked dishes to go with white rice. That evening, we chose 3 dishes and white rice. For drinks, we ordered boiled red sugarcane drink without sugar.
 Sweet sour Chinese mustard (kai choy)
 Fried fish
Steamed pork belly and yam/taro
Service is fast and very quickly our tummies filled.
My orange fire cracker is blooming again.
 Morning at the park @ 7:08 am
Sunrise @ 7:10 am

Hallelujah! O servants of Jehovah, praise his name.
Blessed is his name forever and forever.
Praise him from sunrise to sunset!
For he is high above the nations;
his glory is far greater than the heavens.
(Psalm 113:1-4, The Living Bible-TLB)

  3. I would go for the mustard and pork belly but not the fish, as it looks like with a lot of bones, i am not good with bones.

    1. You are right, its a whole fish and not very big. I gave the fleshy part to hubby as he doesn't like to pick the bones.

  21. Hi Nancy, beautiful photograph of the sunrise. Brilliantly matched with the contrast of the orange cracker. I haven't tried chinese mustard before, should try my hand at that maybe soon, thank you for the heads up. How was the boiled sugarcane drink though? I am pretty sure that without sugar as well it would be sweet is that so?

    1. Thank you, Andrea. We requested for sugar drink without sugar and by itself it is slightly sweet, just right for our taste buds.
