Beef Soup, YTF & Noodle At Restoran Cheong Ko Noodle House

During the RMCO or the Recovery Movement Control Order, we heard that one of the coffee shop in our area has ceased operation and will be closed for good. True enough, when we passed by the shop, a new sign board has replaced the old. There was also a banner informing potential customers of the opening date and business hours.
New Business
We happened to pass by this shop on their opening day i.e. 10th July, at about 10:15 am. There were customers queuing at the front of the shop. Due to the social distancing SOP, customers who wish to dine-in have to queue and wait to be seated.
This was the former business.
~~~~~
Our first breakfast at Restoran Cheong Ko Noodle House.
We waited for about 9 days before we went for our 1st breakfast. It was about 7:10 am, after our morning walk. It was a weekday and at that early hour, we needn't have to queue. We noticed that some of the staffs from the previous business are now working here.
We ordered a bowl of beef soup and some fried items.
A bowl of flat rice noodle in clear soup, stuffed tofu and meat balls.
This was our breakfast for 2 people.
Kopi-O kosong for the man and Kopi-C kosong for the woman.
Ending this short post with a lovely sky shot.
In the end, people appreciate frankness more than flattery.
  1. I would eat a bit from each of the four bowls. Hor fun in clear soup looks so good. Did you all specify what you want in the beef soup or is it by default? I think I can identify tripe and beef meatballs. Are there other beef items in the beef soup?
    1. We didn't specify because we are not particular. We like a bit of everything in the beef soup. Besides tripe, there is tendon and beef meat. The beef meatballs is an added item.
  5. I rarely take beef soup because of the strong taste and smell. But my man loves it. However on doctor's advice, he needs to cut on red meats.
    I don't drink coffee. I am a tea person but I only take in the morning. Otherwise I would have problem sleeping or worse, insomnia.
    1. True, better not to take beef soup too often. We usually take coffee or tea in the morning or early afternoon.
