Porridge With My Home Made Salted Duck Eggs

Time to harvest my home grown Brazilian spinach. Together with the bean sprouts given by a friend, it will be enough for a plate of blanched vegetable for our dinner.

I plucked off the leaves and used the stalks to grown another pot of Brazilian or Sissoo spinach.
My home made salted duck eggs are ready after 30 days. I am excited to check the salted duck egg so I boiled rice porridge for dinner.
Plain rice porridge.
Blanched bean sprouts and Brazilian spinach drizzled with garlic oil and soy sauce.
My home made salted duck eggs turned out very well. I am encouraged to make more.
Pan fried bacon.
Leftover canned fried dace with salted black beans.
Simple and appetizing home cooked dinner for 2 people.

O LORD, what great works you do!
And how deep are your thoughts.
Only a simpleton would not know,
and only a fool would not understand this:
Though the wicked sprout like weeds and
evildoers flourish, they will be destroyed forever.
(Psalm 92:5-7, New Living Translation-NLT)

    1. We didn't finish the salted eggs. Good thing the porridge was quite watery so we don't feel that full.

  10. Me han encantado las espinacas, desde pequeña, cuando me las ponía mi madre. Lo único que no me apetece es el ctocino, por tener demasiada grasa.

    Besos
