Bread With Kaya For Lunch & Fish Porridge For Dinner

These days, before we go out of the house, we must make sure that we have these things: our smartphone, face mask, and of course money. Out of the 3 items, the most important is face mask. I make sure I have extra masks in the cars, and in my bags. We wear mask to protect ourselves and others, plus to avoid being slapped with a RM1k fine. Okay, back to my post.

Sunrise shot just before we start our morning walk.
6:50 am
Later in the morning, I cooked kaya which is coconut milk+egg+sugar jam. I used natural colouring from the juice of pandan or screwpine leaves. Hubby helped to stir the kaya while it was cooking. We love to eat bread with thick spread of kaya.
Home cooked dinner for 2.
Sauteed cabbage and some home grown okra with garlic.
Canned pickled lettuce & braised peanuts.
Fish+rice porridge.

The leaves of the Croton plants are more beautiful than their flowers.

    1. The green is due to the natural colouring of the screwpine leaves extract.
