Lunch.
This lunch was brought back to Ipoh all the way from Penang.
Thanks to our dear friend who "tapau" 2 packets of Penang Hokkien Mee for hubby and I.
I used Google Lens to search for the above plant's identity and found that it is called Iresine lindenii Formosa. It propagate easily through cuttings.

Dinner with our friend at Restoran WSF 33. Taman Hoover, Ipoh.
We ordered blanched Green Amaranth.
Steamed Red Tilapian topped with salted radish. It would have tasted better with some bird's eye chilies added.
Steamed minced pork with salted fish.
Satisfying and enjoyable dinner for 3 people.
For the Lord says, "Because he loves me, I will rescue him;
I will make him great because he trusts in my name.
When he calls on me, I will answer;
I will be with him in trouble and rescue him and honor him.
I will satisfy him with a full life and give him my salvation."
(Psalm 91:14-16, The Living Bible-TLB)
The Formosa plant is stunning, as is the pink & grey sky.

DeleteSteamed Tilapia With Salted Radish & Steamed Pork With Salted Fish and a plate of vege is a lot of food for 3 pax. All 3 of you must be very full after dinner I believe. That plant formosa is so pretty, can it be eaten?
ReplyDeleteOh, we only finished the fish and veggie. My friend tapau the remaining steamed pork with salted fish.
DeleteBeautiful sunrise. And that plant, nature sure is an artist!
ReplyDeleteI never had Green Amaranth - looks a bit like spinach to me.
Green amaranth and spinach are in the same family but the leaves of the amaranth is not as smooth like the spinach.
DeletePratos deliciosos.
ReplyDeleteGostei das fotos.
Um abraço e bom fim-de-semana.
