Hakka Noodles, Yong Tofu And Beef Soup Near Concubine Lane, Ipoh

On the same morning before we visited Ipoh Concubine Lane, we set out to do our errands early in the morning.
We prefer to go out in the early morning before it gets too hot.
We enjoyed the cool morning without the glaring sun.
I was busy taking snapshots while my friend drove the car.
There is less traffic after the morning rush hour.
Workers sweeping the street near the fencing on the left.
More fences on the left.
On the left is the Catholic Church.
Church of Our Lady of Lourdes, Jalan Silibin, Ipoh.
We were here having our breakfast at the Yik Sun Hakka Mee shop at Jalan Panglima. The Concubine Lane is the next lane behind this shop.
We both ordered a plate of Hakka mee each, with minced meat topping.
We ordered 2 pieces each of stuffed tofu, minced pork balls, beef balls (big and small).
We also ordered a bowl of beef slices (medium cooked).
When I was still working, my colleagues and I used to frequent this Hakka mee shop.
Yik Sun Hakka Mee, Jalan Panglima, Ipoh.
It is the 2nd shop after 'All Inn Cafe'.
Sorry about this hurried snapshot. Lol! We were in a rush.

Don't be hotheaded and rush to court!
You may start something you can't finish and
go down before your neighbor in shameful defeat.
So discuss the matter with him privately.
Don't tell anyone else, lest he accuse you of slander
and you can't withdraw what you said.

  2. Going out to eat so early. The sky is still dark. Am a noodle lover. Definitely I love the Hakka noodles. The noodles looks like mee pok, slightly different from Kuching Hakka noodles. I prefer the stuffed tofu with meat balls, beef balls than that bowl of beef slices. All in all everything looks nice.

    1. Yes, we do eat out quite often. Over here it is sometimes cheaper eating out than home cooking for 2 persons. Have a lovely day!

  11. You must like to go out a lot. I couldn't possibly go out to eat in restaurants so often.
I need to know what is in my food for health reason and I need to know where it comes from.
I like to prepare the dishes myself.
I just couldn't do what you do.

    Hugs,
    JB

  14. You must get up early to catch the sky at such an early hour. - Is it common to eat noodles for breakfast there? Sort of like cereal here one would think.

  16. It's funny--I work at home, so I can do my errands whenever I want. I still find myself avoiding rush hour and lunch hour. So anytime after 9 but before 11...not much of a window there!
