Driving To Kampar And Then To Gopeng.

Last Wednesday evening, hubby and I went on a drive to Kampar and then to Gopeng for 2 purposes. One was to run an errand and the other was to visit & take a friend out for dinner.
We started our drive around 4.50 pm to avoid the after office hour traffic jam.
It was a nice leisure drive with light traffic.
Pine trees in new flower pots on the road divider.
We drove near the Tunku Abdul Rahman University campus area.
Fishing at the beautiful Kampar lake near the campus.
 Someone just caught a fish!
A lone man sitting and waiting for a catch. It was about 5.50 pm.
 Buildings near the campus.
Grand Kampar Hotel.
Found this art piece behind a cascading water fountain in front of the hotel.
Left side view - gravel pump mining & dulang washing.
Right side view.
Main population - university and college students.
From Kampar, we then drove to Gopeng.
Some repair works near our friend's house. The retaining wall has collapsed.
Since the retaining wall was down, the chain link fence was also down.
Caught sight of these fowls in the compound. Surprisingly, without the fence, these fowls remained in the compound.
Linking to Skywatch Friday.

Praise be to the LORD,

who has not let us be torn by their teeth.

We have escaped like a bird from the fowler's snare;

the snare has been broken, and we have escaped.

Our help is in the name of the LORD,

the Maker of heaven and earth.

(Psalm 124:6-8, New International Version-NIV)

The 'buildings near the campus' don't look like typical Malaysian design!
