Dinner At Fresco Grocerant, Ipoh Parade.

I woke up Saturday morning at 6.00 am but went back to sleep because it was drizzling.
I woke up again at about 7.00 am and the drizzling has stopped.
We prepared to go out for breakfast.
But the sky remained gloomy.
It was cloudy and gloomy for the rest of the day.
In the evening about 6.30 pm, we went out for our dinner and then to attend the Saturday evening church celebration service.
We have been once to the newly opened Jaya Grocer in Ipoh Parade for lunch. On Sunday evening, we were there to meet up with a friend. After that, we decided to order something for dinner.
Hubby and I shared this for dinner.
Roast Chicken with coleslaw and smashed potato.
Price MYR 29.90 (approx. 7.30 USD)
Gravy for the roast chicken.
A portion of Corn Salad. MYR 8.00 (approx. 1.95 USD)
Total cost of dinner inclusive of 1 glass of Ice Lemon,
MYR 39.90 (approx. 9.74 USD).
This is the Syuen Hotel.
One of the Ipoh City Hall buildings.

We have been passing by here many times. I finally managed to get some snapshots of this place with its painting and gate.
There is an inner gate and an outer butterfly gate.
Roundabout at Jalan Tokong (Bulatan Sultan Abdullah).
Linking to Good Fences.

Generations come and generations go,
but the earth remains forever.
The sun rises and the sun sets,
and hurries back to where it rises.
The wind blows to the south and turns to the north;
round and round it goes, ever returning on its course.

  6. That's a pretty American kind of dinner. Yummy though. I like having the gravy on the side. Sometimes there is too much gravy on stuff.

Have a fabulous day Nancy. ☺
