After sending our friend to the dental clinic for his appointment (yesterday's post), we drove home to take a rest. When evening came, we were ready to pick up our friend for dinner.
Evening sky at about 5.15 pm.
From the dark clouds, we were expecting some rain.
We drove all the way to Lawan Kuda for dinner.
Restoran Peng Yew, 50, Jalan Aman, Desa Lawan Kuda,
31600 Gopeng. Tel: 016-532 1520 / 012-468 2310.
Between my hubby and friend, they ordered the following dishes.
Baby French Beans stir-fried with garlic.
Savoury and spicy Wild Boar meat.
Steamed meaty part of the Snakehead Fish with needle mushrooms,
and the bony parts for boiling herbal soup.
My bowl of herbal soup with the bony parts of the Snakehead Fish.
After dinner, we sent our friend to the bus terminal to board a bus to Singapore.
Then he told me to speak to the bones and say:
"O dry bones, listen to the words of God, for the Lord God says,
'See! I am going to make you live and breathe again!
I will replace the flesh and muscles on you and
cover you with skin. I will put breath into you,
and you shall live and know I am the Lord.'"
(Ezekiel 37:4-6, The Living Bible-TLB)
