Lunch At Restoran Fook Seng, Slim River.

We have planned our journey travelling from Fraser's Hill to reach Slim River by 1 pm. We were right on time for lunch at Restoran Fook Seng, Slim River for a scrumptious lunch. Our friends who are regulars here ordered the dishes.
We had their signature dish - Clay Pot Fish.
We all agreed this is the best we have tasted.
We saw this dish on almost every table.
MYR 60.00 (approx. 14.79 USD)
Clay Pot Tofu. MYR 8.00 (approx. 1.97 USD)
Stir fried kangkong or water spinach.
MYR 5.00 (approx. 1.23 USD)
Bitter melon with roasted pork.
MYR 12.00 (approx. 2.96 USD)
Steamed Fresh Water Prawns. MYR 72.00 (approx. 17.75 USD)
Initially we wanted to order 6 prawns but was advised to try half a prawn for each person because it was quite big. Overall, it was a scrumptious meal.
Our lunch came to MYR 179.35
(inclusive of rice, Chinese tea & 6 % GST)
Restoran Fook Seng, Slim River - After exiting from toll at Slim River, turn left. Then drive a short distance ahead and you can see the restaurant on your right.
Nice painting on the wall.

We can make a large horse turn around and go
wherever we want by means of a small bit in his mouth.

Thank God for safe journey all the way back to Ipoh.
Upon reaching our friend's house, we were invited to drink this soup which their daughter-in-law has kept for us. What a pleasant homecoming!
