Enjoying A Dinner Treat At Restoran Mandarin Kitchen, Ipoh.

We received a call from our friend to book us for a dinner date. At the appointed day and time, we went to pick up our friend and her husband from their house. We reached the restaurant just before 7 pm and all the tables on the ground floor were occupied except for one table. We were just in time or else we will have to go up to the 1st floor. It was a Sunday evening and the crowd is expected.
We started with Dong Po Pork Belly dish. It was not the usual version of the melt in the mouth Dongpo Pork Belly bathed in thick gravy. This was a drier version.
Crispy Deep Fried Butter Milk Squid.
Steamed River Fish (pak soh koon) with blended ginger.
Blanched greens with cuttlefish strips.
Thank you, dear friends for a food-filling dinner.
