Japanese Food Dinner Buffet At Kinta Riverfront Hotel, Ipoh.

Our friends asked us whether we were interested to join them for a Japanese food dinner buffet on the 31st July. Tickets needed to be booked, paid and collected within 3 days from date of booking. Finally, we were a group of 9 people going for the dinner buffet. If I have heard correctly, the buffet is a once a month event.
Time of buffet was 8.30 pm and the final call was 10.30 pm.
Below are some of the food served at the buffet.
Saba Shioyaki (Grilled Mackerel).
Yakitori Leek, Yakitori Lady finger, Yakitori Egg Plant.
Yakitori Teriyaki, Yakitori Tongarashi
Ebi Fry
Teppanyaki Crab. 1 diner = 1 crab.
Teriyaki Chicken
Braised Salmon Atama with Teriyaki
Seafood Yaki Udon
Seafood Fried Rice
Okinawa Asari Itame
Ebi Tempura
Varieties for the Hot Pot
Varieties of Salad

Below were the different varieties of sushi, maki, etc.

And the following were the desserts.
(Left) Lemon sliced cake, Cheese cake & Macaroons.
(Right) Chocolate Mousse cake, Green tea chocolate & Croissant.
(Above) Strawberry tart & Banana muffins.
(Below) Pineapple & watermelon slices.
And below were some of the food picked and brought to the table.

1 diner = 1 sake or 1 watermelon juice.
Some for the sweet tooth
Decoration on the wall

The horses of Pharaoh, his horsemen,
and his chariots tried to follow through the sea;
But the Lord let down the walls of water on them
while the people of Israel walked through on dry land.

  2. Looks good! But not a complete buffet in the sense that some items you are restricted to just one.

  17. If you eat a few raw oysters, you would have eaten your money's worth. Any discount for senior citizens above 60?

    1. Mun, I only ate 1 raw oyster and I couldn't eat another one. I never thought of asking about the discount for senior citizens because the booking was done by a friend.

  21. No wonder it is only once a month. It would take a huge crew to prepare all this yummy food. So much! Here, we have lots of Chinese places, but not near as many Japanese.

  29. Wow so much food! I always get a bit stressed at buffets coz I'd be strategising how to get my money's worth. The desserts look really good at this one. Oo those crabs... but I see your comment, only 1 per diner hahaha.

    1. I used to enough buffet lunch & dinner when I was younger but now due to age, digestion system slowed down, so can't eat much at one go. So for my age, not worth going for buffet.
