We saw a posting on Facebook about a new eatery in Falim. I recognized the place because we have been there a few times but each time it was a new eatery. We love curry noodles and we wanted to try this curry noodle. We visited not once but twice in the same week but with different friends.
I ordered curry noodle-soup version, and hubby ordered the dry curry noodle.
The dry version is more of the dark + light soy sauce plus some thick curry gravy.
My kopi-C kosong.
It is coffee with evaporated milk without sugar.
This is the curry noodles stall.
The food court takes up 2 shoplots.
Location: 39 & 41, Laluan Falim 1, Taman Falim Indah, Ipoh.

Yes, our natural lives will fade as grass does
when it becomes all brown and dry.
All our greatness is like a flower that droops and falls;
but the Word of the Lord will last forever.
And his message is the Good News that was preached to you.

All looks good I would prefer the dry version I presume.
ReplyDeleteTake care.
The dry version is milder and not so spicy.
DeleteHello :) Until I felt the taste of these dishes, coffee looks especially appetizing :) Greetings and have a pleasant day.
ReplyDeleteThank you and have a pleasant day too.
DeleteBoth versions of curry noodles are very tasty! Love those Chinese chives flowers...so pretty.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Angie.
DeleteI love to eat the chives flowers buds. Do you harvest the chives buds to eat?
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I do but the harvest is very little. So I cooked the buds with the chives.
DeleteNowadays we don't dare to eat curry soup noodles early in the morning because we are afraid that the oil may cause us to go running to the toilet when we are still in the car on the way back home but both your curry noodles look good so I will order the dry version as I like thick curry sauce and I don't drink all the curry broth. How much curry broth did you drink?
ReplyDeleteCurry oil is not a problem for me but I have problem with milk. If the curry broth is nice, I will take a few spoonfuls.
DeleteThe flowers are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Rose.
Delete...two yummy choices!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Tom.
DeleteEverything looks delicious as always and your little chive flowers are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Martha.
DeleteI go for the wet version, I like curry gravy over the dish.
ReplyDeleteI prefer the wet version too.
DeleteMmmm ... This looks delicious!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Elena.
DeleteIt looks like a great place to dine with friends.
ReplyDeleteYes, and there are other food choices besides the curry noodles.
DeleteDo you eat the leaves of the chives?
ReplyDeleteYes, we eat both the leaves and the tender buds.
DeleteI am craving for curry noodles! I would love topping with mint leaves so I must bring my own. LOL!
ReplyDeleteI can't because I don't plant mint. But will get hubby's share every time we eat curry noodles.
DeleteSeems tasty food, I love the milky coffee
ReplyDeleteMe too.
DeleteMy garlic chives have the same flower as your chives. Keep well, Diane
ReplyDeleteThank you, Diane. Take care and stay safe.
DeleteAwesome photos as per usual
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jo-Anne.
DeleteChive flowers, i did not know that chive has such pretty little flowers.
ReplyDeleteThe flowers look something like the flowers of shallots.
DeleteTodo muy interesante como siempre. Un beso.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Teresa.
DeleteThe dry version looks more like normal 'kon lou' than curry.
ReplyDeleteYes, it is more of a "kon lou" with a little of the curry gravy.
DeleteThe curry noodle broth looks sourish like assam laksa broth, is it sourish?
ReplyDeleteSlightly sour because of the added lime juice.
DeleteThanks for linking up with Garden Affair.
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting. Have a great weekend.
