We had friends coming over to join us for breakfast. The place my friend want to go to was closed so we ended up at Restoran First Kwong Chow.
Hubby and I shared this bowl of fried fish noodle with salted vegetable.
Hubby and I had the above for lunch.
Bread with home made peanut jam and coconut+egg jam and 3-in-1 coffee from Antong Coffee Mill.
For late afternoon, we had barley+ginkgo sweet drink (tong sui).

Joining friends for dinner at Kedai Minuman Villa.
Steamed 3 types of eggs with water (chicken eggs, century egg and salted egg)
Sweet potato leaves with crispy fried lard in clay pot
Steamed grouper fish.
Kam heong pork slices with fragrant spices.
3 types of vegetables with sambal belacan.
(okra, long beans and eggplant)
Stir fried roast pork with onions, spring onions, and crispy fried lard.
Thank you, friends for this satisfying dinner treat and delightful company.
Work happily together. Don't try to act big.
Don't try to get into the good graces of important people,
but enjoy the company of ordinary folks.
And don't think you know it all!

DeleteBread kaya and barley tong sui is what I often eat too but not self made ones so your home made ones must be very tasty. The fried fish noodles look so tempting too. Where did your friend want to eat at that was closed?

ReplyDeleteHere we were not permitted to share a plate or bowl of food, we each have to have a plate or bowl of our own.
We could either share or ask for a separate bowl. Most places are not particular except in fine dining restaurants.
