Shredded Chicken Noodle & Steamed Black Pomfret

On this particular Sunday, we went to one of our regular coffee shop for breakfast.

We ordered shredded chicken noodle (kai si hor fun).
Without prawns is RM5, with prawns is RM5.50.
We can now enjoy delicious kai si hor fun without having to drive out to town.

Hoping to harvest enough ginger for the coming Chinese New Year.

Home cooked dinner for 2.
I need to clear some extra minced meat already thawed in the fridge and I wanted to also clear 2 frozen black pomfret so that I can stock up some fresh ones.
Home grown green brinjals (eggplants) sauteed with garlic and minced meat.
Steamed black pomfret with chopped garlic, pickled radish (choy poh) and chili. Seasoned with oyster sauce, salt and sugar. Squeezed some lime juice over the steamed fish before serving. We enjoyed the overload topping.

This snapshot was taken in 2015 and I think it is still there.
This is near to the restaurant which is famous for serving frozen beer.

Reunion Celebration Dinner At Rawang Famous Steamed Fish, Ipoh

Last week, we had a reunion celebration dinner for a friend who seldom gets to visit us. There were altogether 10 people in our group. Out of the whole group only hubby and I have tasted the food at Rawang Famous Steam Fish.

We have earlier planned to go with the rest of the group but somehow the plan was put on hold. So with the visit of this special friend from another state, we were finally able to gather as a group to enjoy a delightful dinner at this restaurant.

It was a weekend and every table was taken by customers. Fortunately, some from our group reached there earlier and managed to secure a big table for us and ordered the food as well.
