Simple Dinner At WK Claypot Chicken Rice, Taman Silibin Ria, Ipoh

On this particular morning, a beautiful sunrise greeted us when we started out on our morning walk.

#1 - Beautiful sunrise in spite of the dark clouds at 7am.
#2 - 7:05am
#3 - 7:10am.
#4 - 7:15am.

After morning walk, we had breakfast at one of our regular coffee shop. Ordered shredded chicken noodle (kai si hor fun). I think the boss must have forgotten to add the reddish prawn oil to the noodle because they looked pale. Business was good that morning and the boss was managing the stall all by himself. Hubby ordered Chinese tea and I ordered Herbal tea.
Reached home at about 8:10am. View of Kledang Hill.
That late afternoon, I received a new keyboard. Younger son bought a better keyboard for me to replace the previous one when he heard that some of the keys were not functioning well. The previous keyboard is now connected to the laptop for easy typing.

I didn't cook that evening, so we had dinner at WK Claypot Chicken Rice. We thought of ordering claypot chicken rice but the wait was quite long. So we ordered ready cooked dishes with white rice.
Fried fish.
Pork belly with wood fungus and carrot.
Sweet sour mustard green.
These dishes are like home cooked dishes.
Hubby paid so I don't know the exact price of each dish.

I've blotted out your sins; they are gone like the morning mist at noon!
Oh, return to me, for I have paid the price to set you free.

Home Cooked Old Cucumber Soup With Pork

Some days, we don't feel like eating noodles so we ended up ordering some fried stuffs from the noodle stall at our regular coffee shop. Hubby ordered unsweetened black coffee and I ordered herbal tea. Then I ordered 4 pieces of fried bean curd sheet with fish paste+nestum, 2 pieces of fried wonton and 2 pieces of fried tofu.

Simple breakfast for hubby and I.

Most days I ordered herbal tea without the egg. Some times I will order herbal tea with the hard boiled egg.

Back in my garden.
Aglaonema - Thai Beauty.
Croton - green and yellow leaves.
Ixora buds.
Red Dragon Fruit plants grown from seeds. The plants are still in a small pot. I have not decided where to place these Dragon Fruit plants because these plants have long and sharp thorns.
My creamy white fragrant Gardenia blooms.
Firecrackers flowers.
Purple orchids

Home cooked dinner.
A friend gave me an old cucumber. I used it to boil soup with carrot, red dates, goji berries and pork with the skin on.
I took out the pork from the soup when it was cooked just right, cut it into pieces and serve in a separate plate.
I used sambal belacan with some lime juice and soy sauce as dipping sauces for the pork.
This is our home cooked dinner without any rice. The leftover or whatever pork we could not finish, we kept for next day's lunch.

This Good News tells us that God makes us ready for heaven
- makes us right in God's sight -
when we put our faith and trust in Christ to save us.
This is accomplished from start to finish by faith.
As the Scripture says it,
"The man who finds life will find it through trusting God."

Stewed Pork With White Bitter Gourd & Steamed Snake Long Beans

The dishes I cooked for dinner were planned to use whatever I have harvested from my garden. So for this particular dinner, I will be using both the white bitter gourd and snake long beans that were kept in my fridge.
Stewed pork and white bitter gourd.
Ingredients: garlic, ginger, salted black beans, fermented soy beans.
 Steamed snake long beans.
Drizzled with olive oil and light soy sauce.
Both the above dishes were with less salt to suit our dinner minus the rice or noodle.
 Lovely sunrise @ 7:10 am
After weeks of hot weather, the rain came and the temperature is more bearable now.
 Malabar Spinach grown from seeds.
Grasshopper clinging on a branch in my garden.

I cling to your commands and follow them as closely as I can.
Lord, don't let me make a mess of things.

Lunch With Ex-colleagues At Classic Dining, Fair Park, Ipoh.

We had planned to visit this ex-colleague of ours and it finally took place last Saturday. It happened to be a free day for most of us. After a few phone calls to the others, we were able to put our plan into action.

Our visit included taking our ex-colleague out for lunch at the Classic Dinning in Fair Park (main road). Fortunately, a table was available for 6 people as the rest were reserved. To avoid disappointment, it is safer to call and make reservation (tel: 05-5430153, 018-2730188).

For drink, we were recommended the "Flower Tea".
"Flower Tea" in a glass teapot. No problem with unlimited hot water refill.
First, they brought these tiny cute teacups.
With a tiny 3D goldfish inside the cup.
A goldfish swimming in your tea!
And there is one teacup with a pair of goldfish.
Where to find these cute teacups?
Brush painting decoration on the wall.
Umbrella shaped lanterns hanging from the ceiling.
I think it was the lady boss who saw me taking pictures. So nice of her to ask whether I am interested to go upstairs to take a look. Only 3 were curious enough! Plenty of seating places for customers and also good for holding dinner parties.
Lantern decorations next to the wall.
Pretty lantern decoration.
More lantern decoration.
1st floor counter.
An antique dragon head door knocker.
The take away counter next to the front entrance.
Look out for these lanterns decoration in front of the restaurant.

for as it springs up it causes deep trouble,
hurting many in their spiritual lives.
