Colourful And Eye-Catching Trash Bins In Ipoh New Town

When we were walking down memory lane and snapping photos that were posted in my previous post, it was my friend, Sam, who noticed and remarked about these beautifully painted trash bins. Indeed, they are very colourful and eye-catching trash bins.
The artists who painted these trash bins did a very good job to make-over these plain, boring bins into something attractive and interesting, that we would want to take photos of them for our album.
Trash bins are provided or make available to encourage people to use them instead of littering or dirtying the place.
Without these trash bins to keep the trash from stray dogs, rubbish will be strewed all over the place.
Trash bins are dirty, smelly and no one wants to go near them. They are neglected, avoided, shunned and rejected.
If possible no one wants to have anything to do with them. Only those who need to throw rubbish and the collectors have to go near them.
It is interesting to have these trash bins getting the attention of the artists, spending time and resources to paint and turned them into attractive, interesting items.
Instead of being eye-sores, they are being transformed into beautiful, eye-catching items worthy to be photographed.
These trash bins were created for a purpose, which they could not reject. Whether we humans realized or appreciated them or not, they have helped to keep our towns, cities and residential areas free from litter.

It is along the lane behind this humble bus stop, that we found all the attractive, eye-catching trash bins. Hidden from public view but faithfully serving their purpose.
He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him,
nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.
He was despised and rejected by men,
a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering.
Like one from whom men hid their faces he was despised,
and we esteemed him not.

Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows,
yet we considered him stricken by God,
smitten by him, and afflicted.
But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was upon him,
and by his wounds we are healed.
(Isaiah 53:2b-5, New International Version-NIV)
