On Thursday morning we drove to Taman Ipoh Impian to have Dim Sum breakfast with a friend at Restoran Hong Kong Dim Sum BFB. This is my first visit to this place. Since it was a weekday, it was not crowded. I was told that during the weekends it will be very crowded.
The restaurant is a corner shop lot and parking is not a problem. Upon entering the restaurant, there is a big board showing the 33 types of dim sum available.
Delicious Deep Fried Yam Paste with meat filling (Woo Kok)
Crispy Deep Fried Bean Curd Skin Roll with prawn and meat filling.
Prawn Dumplings (Har Kow)
Dim Sum.
Fluffy BBQ Pork Steamed Bun (Char siew pau)
Tasty Char Siew Pau with moist, delicious meat filling.
Steamed glutinous rice with chicken and mushroom (lor mai kai)
Pan Fried Dumplings.
Flaky pastry Egg Tarts, not too sweet, just nice for my taste.
Very unique name for a restaurant, "Eight and a half" (in Chinese)
Total cost MYR 38.50 (approx. 10.78 USD) for 3 people.

ReplyDeleteI love to eat dim sum. The price here is so attractive! I don't think can find prices like this for dim sum in KL. So sad. The mountain view is too beautiful for words.
