Homemade Steamed Buns & Coffee For Breakfast

This morning woke up again to see another hazy day! Instead of clearing up, the haze is back, worse than before. It looks like the haze is here to stay for another few more months as some has reported.
Everywhere we look is this grey, grey sky and it is making me very sleepy.
The schools were affected because of the bad haze situation.

This particular morning I do not have the appetite for noodles. I needed some strong coffee to perk me up from my sleepiness. There is a coffee shop in Canning Garden which sells very tasty and delicious homemade pau or steamed buns and they are hot selling items.

They have plain pumpkin buns, BBQ pork buns, salted preserved veggie buns (mui choy pau), coconut buns, etc. Limited quantity available.

For that particular morning, I ordered a veggie bun and a coconut bun. Our favourite is the coconut bun. I like the pumpkin bun too.

This is Kedai Kopi Dan Restoran Sun Heng, in the middle of a row of shops directly facing the Canning Garden market in Ipoh. The road is Lorong Cecil Rae.

As we were walking to our car after breakfast, we these 2 cats resting next to the fencing.

At first, this one was looking straight at me but later turned to look away.

This one is bothered with me but continue to nap away.

Showing some fences here. Neat and pretty fence at a roundabout.

A big advertising board and 2 parallel fencing, the outer one a rusty fence.

Linking to Good Fences.

So many enemies against one man - all of them trying to kill me.
To them I'm just a broken-down wall or a tottering fence.
They plan to topple me from my high position.
They delight in telling lies about me.
They praise me to my face but curse me in their hearts.
(Psalm 62:3-4, New Living Translation-NLT)

    1. Thank you, BJ. We get plenty of rain here but now even with the downpour the haze caused by opening burning came back worse than before and it is very bad for our health.

  14. Oh, so sorry about the haze. I was in L.A. when they had some kind of haze that hung over the city most of the day. I'd never seen anything like it. It's caused there by pollution, I think? Someone said the sun has to come out and "burn it off?"

    1. Stephanie, we are praying for rain to come to wash away the haze and dust particle and also heavy downpour to put out the fire where it is burning and causing all this haze problem.
