Siamese Laksa, Home & Lifestyle Exhibition

It was only last week I was here at Pusat Makanan Ye Sing, Jalan Dato Haji Megat Khas, Ipoh. It is next to Paragon Hotel, Ipoh, near to Kg. Simee. I was with my foodie friends for the Siamese Laksa and Assam Laksa. This afternoon I was back here again with hubby, also to enjoy both the laksa.
This was our appetizing lunch.

A bowl of Siamese Laksa (Laksa Lemak with coconut milk) for me.

A bowl of Assam Laksa for hubby.

Deep fried stuffed fish rolls.

Crispy deep fried soya bean squares.

Mung beans + barley sweet drink (tong sui). Just nice for us, not too sweet.

This is the Laksa stall with all the information on display.

While we were enjoying our laksa, a lady told us that we should also try the chee cheong fun on the trishaw. The chee cheong fun starts business about 1.00 pm.

On our way home, we passed by the stadium and hubby wanted to check out some home products on exhibit.

Exhibition ends today.

Car show before the entrance to the indoor stadium.

Stadium Indera Mulia - Ipoh's Indoor Stadium.
Opposite is the outdoor stadium.

Ipoh has been covered with a foggy blanket of haze. Photo taken at 12.45 pm.

Many are complaining of sore throat and bad cough.

I took a quick snapshot of the front of the stadium and went back indoor. As we entered, we were told to register at the counter to receive a free gift.

This is the only photo I took in the exhibition. How wonderful if I could have this in my garden.

On the way home after the exhibition. Photo taken about 2.00 pm, but looked like evening.

We couldn't differentiate whether it was raining or just the haze.

These are the free gifts we received at the counter. These cute bunnies kitchen timers will come in useful for me.

The whole Bible was given to us by inspiration from God and
is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize
what is wrong in our lives;
it straightens us out and helps us do what is right.

  5. Oh yummy on the food. You do eat so very well.

I hate the haze. We are still in harvest here and the dust is flying. Everyone is coughing and congested. I'll be glad when we can get some clean air to breathe.

Have a fabulous day Nancy. ☺

  13. Cute bunnies!! And I would love to have some water feature in my back yard too. ^^

Haze is bad over there so you do take care. Stay indoor and drink more fluid. Wear mask if go out.

Kuching has been enjoying good weather since last week. Hopefully stay like this!!
