Crispy Skin And Juicy Roasted Pork At Taman Pertama, Ipoh

If you are looking for crispy skin and juicy roasted pork, I will recommend that you try the roasted pork at Restoran First Kwong Chow in First Garden (Taman Pertama), Ipoh. I have tried roasted pork from a few places around Ipoh and personally, I find this roasted pork in First Garden one of the best in Ipoh. I wouldn't dare say it is the best because it is up to individual's taste.

Most of our friends from outstation or from other parts of Ipoh will request for this roasted pork whenever they come to First Garden. If the visitors come at the right time, we will usually recommend this roasted pork to them.
This stall starts business after 2 pm. Even before business starts, customers will be waiting.

Name of business - Roasted Pork Chee Kong.

Contact number - 012-523 5223

Customers queuing up, waiting for workers to unload the roasted pork, etc. from the van.

2 choppers to handle customers' orders, either to eat in the restaurant or to pack or "ta pau" to take away.

They sell roasted pork, BBQ pork, roasted chicken, roasted stuffed intestine, braised pork & tofu, etc.

Family members and workers helping out at the stall. Depending on the business, the stall usually closes around 5 pm.
Below are some of our orders for different visits.

A plate of roasted pork RM10.00 (approx. 2.28 USD)

Roasted stuffed intestine casing (minced meat, etc. as filling)

A mixture of roasted pork and stuffed intestine casing.

Soup is free - very flavourful and tasty.

Chili sauce as dipping sauce.

For those who wants white rice to eat with the roasted pork or other items.

At times I crave for egg custard and ice water comes with it.
