Noodles And Accompaniments At Kedai Makanan Kum Kee, Pasir Pinji.

One afternoon we received a phone call from a friend asking whether we had any appointment in the evening. It was because she wanted to invite us for dinner.
Fluffy cottony clouds floating in the sky.
Our friends suddenly thought of the noodles in Pasir Pinji.
We have not been to "Dai Sai Keok" (big small leg) for a long, long time. "Dai Sai Keok" is a local nickname given to the eatery. This eatery is known for its Pig's Trotters (big leg) and Chicken Feet (small leg) in soya sauce.
The name of the eatery is Kedai Makanan Kum Kee, Jalan Raja Muda. It is opposite the Pasir Pinji Police Station.
First, we ordered 4 bowls of silky soft Tofu Fa for 4 people.
My bowl of flat rice noodle in curry soup.
Then the accompaniments arrived at the table. We ordered these stewed chicken feet, fish balls, stuffed green chilies and some stuffed bean curd.
And also 2 pieces of tofu. That's all we ate for dinner for 4 people.

The following photos are for joining Saturday's Critters.
These snapshots were taken in my garden.
Spotted this pretty insect on the corn leaf while I was watering my plants.
Found this hairy caterpillar clinging to some leaves. Since this branch was not very healthy looking, I snipped off the branch and found not 1 but 2 caterpillars!
I don't know what caterpillar this was but it look scary and dangerous to me. Some hairy caterpillars will cause swelling and pain when they come in contact with our skin.

Linking to Saturday's Critters.

Jealousy is more dangerous and cruel than anger.

  2. Hello Nancy! Appetizing food, very different froom my country.
The caterpillans that they have that type of hair usually cause inflammation. Especially to the dogs, if they touch them with the tongue.

    1. The silky soft/smooth tofu is actually soya bean curd. It tastes sweet with sugar syrup added to it.

  15. I left your blog right away to go and research this caterpillar. Alas, I cannot find any that look like it!! After looking again, I will make another try. It does look poisonous! What a beautiful butterfly=like insect! I don't think it is a moth, but sure is pretty!
