We woke up early on a Tuesday morning, (the Tuesday before Christmas). We reached the recreational park at about 6.50 am. This is the best time to start our walk. Nowadays, if it is too early, it is not safe to be walking in the dark and if it is too late, the walking track will be crowded with human traffic.

We heard friends talking about having breakfast at MacDonald and we were curious enough to want to try. Its been a long, long time since we last stepped into a MacDonald. The one nearest to our place is the MacDonald in Jalan Kuala Kangsar. We didn't know what is good, so we ended up ordering the Family Breakfast. The Family Pack A for MYR 25 consists of the following items.
Scrambled egg with a burger bun.
3 pieces of Hash Brown and a burger bun with a piece of burger, egg & cheese. A small pack of butter, sugar syrup and grape jam.
The burger with the filling without the wrapper.
2 pieces of pancake.
I tried my pancake with the sugar syrup. Hubby is not a bread fan so I ended up eating all the bun and pancakes.
2 paper cups of coffee.

I am more interested in coffee from the McCafe.
We were the early customers.

We finished our breakfast and left the place by 8.35 am.

Hubby is interested in the fried chicken and we came back that night for the spicy fried chicken and coffee from McCafe!
I ordered a large Latte to share with hubby @ MYR 8.
And hubby ordered 2 pieces of spicy chicken to share with me.
Looks like we will be coming back again for McCafe's coffee!

Now HERE is a place I know well! We have two McDonalds in our small city, and have eaten there many times. They have very good ice-cream, too!

DeleteThat is the one thing about McDonalds. They do strive to serve the part of the world they are in, but some of their fare is going to be exactly the same. They want you to be able to get some of the same items and have them taste the same at every McDonalds in the world.

DeleteLove the sky, but McDonald's? No. They have the worst breakfast on the planet. Their coffee is terrible too. Okay, off my soapbox. I do love their quarter pound hamburger and fries though.

The coffee they serve with the breakfast is really not good but I like the coffee from the McCafe. Well, for the breakfast, we are back to our local fare for breakfast! Lol!
