Prawn Noodles For Breakfast & Durians For Dessert

A friend is coming over to pick me up for breakfast. So what to introduce to my friend? I asked her whether she has tried the prawn noodle in Menglembu and she replied that she has not. So I was the GPS and we arrived safely, found a parking right in front of the shop. A friend introduced this place to me and I have introduced it to a few friends and everyone of them enjoyed the prawn noodle.

After breakfast, we drove back to my area and we passed by a durian stall on the roadside. My friend parked her car by the side of the road, we walked over to the stall. We ended up buying 3 durian fruits for RM110, selling at RM24 per kilo.
We then drove back to my house to enjoy a durian dessert.
We ate some and packed the rest into 2 separate containers. Some for my friend and some for me.
Some have white creamy flesh, some have yellow creamy and sweet tasting flesh.
Overall, we were quite happy with what we have bought. This was my first durian feast for this year.

Kittes are good photo models. They usually keep still.
Sometimes, they will look up to be photographed.
Something must have caught its attention!

  1. There are no durians here. I guess they do not grow in this country. They must have a short season there?

    1. Hi Ginny, durian is a tropical fruit that grows in South-East Asia. It is a seasonal fruit, fruiting only once or twice a year.

  17. What the heck are durians! Prawns I know but only two in the bowl. There should be at least 5 or 6 of them I would think. See ya Nancy.

    1. Lol! Paul, durians are tropical fruits. For the price of the bowl of noodle, 2 prawns is enough.
