Shredded Chicken And Prawn Noodle, Stuffed Fish & Fish Head Curry

We are still in the midst of the different types of MCOs. There is nothing exciting happening for us except to think of what we are going to have for breakfast, lunch, dinner and in between. Other than food, I also look forward to sunrises, sunsets, and a little bit of gardening.  I have to admit that I am slowing down in my gardening.

This was 31st May.

Sunrise at 7:18am
Same time, at the reverse side.
Back to the sunrise at 7:20am
~~~~~
We still have 5 more days of EMCO to follow before we join the nationwide lockdown. Hubby went out to buy take away breakfast from Kafe Little Nam Yeong.
Flat rice noodle (koay teow), shredded chicken meat, prawn, and etc. minus the chicken and prawn broth.
Shredded chicken and prawn noodle with the broth added to it.
My sea hibiscus in different colour shades.
Yellow in the morning and pink by midday.
A "Fishy" Dinner
Fish (torpedo scad) stuffed with spicy sambal aka ikan cencaru sumbat sambal.
Our neighbour bought these for us.
Fish head assam curry
Ordered and given by our neighbour the day earlier. Since I had already prepared dinner, I kept it in the fridge. That was how we ended up with 2 types of fish dishes for this dinner.
Blanched broccoli drizzled with some soy sauce.
I got distracted and returned to the kitchen to find the broccoli over cooked.
Thanks to our neighbour for their generosity.
Sunset at 7:25pm.
Sunset at 7:27pm.
Evening sky at 7:28pm
I like the clouds behind the hills.
Can you see the telecommunication towers on top of Kledang Hill?
Let the waves clap their hands in glee and
the hills sing out their songs of joy before the Lord,
for he is coming to judge the world with perfect justice.
(Psalm 98:8-9, The Living Bible-TLB)
  2. Same here, nothing exciting happening for me too, just looking forward to the food I am eating plus looking forward to spending my solitaire time reading my books in the aircon library that's all.
    Wonder the full lockdown will continue, as cases going down?? Somehow the figures are there and here, not down steadfast. Sigh.
  6. Yes, can see those towers. Wonder which telecommunications company they belong to. Do you know? Two different fish dishes mean you have to work harder since your spouse would just eat a bit of each.
    By the way, your blog makes my initial comment disappear and I always have to retype it. Wish it would not do that.
  17. I like the colour changes of sunrise and sunset and it is different everyday. The flat noodles and prawn soup is kai si horfan right? One of my favourites. I have not heard or seen sea hibiscus and it is amazing it changes colour as the day progresses. I am going to look for it in the nurseries after lockdown
