Western Style Breakfast & 5 Treasures Rice Porridge For Dinner

This is 4th of June, last day of EMCO for Ipoh. We are eagerly looking forward to the 5th of June to resume our morning walk.

For a change, we had Western style breakfast.
1 fried egg, baked beans, 2 pieces of bread and a hot drink.
~~~~~
5 Treasures Rice Porridge for dinner.
Ingredients used: Roast pork with bones, salted eggs, century eggs, chopped ginger and pickled lettuce.
Blanched home grown Brazilian Spinach, drizzled with garlic oil, oyster and soy sauce.
Hubby and my neighbour said that this is the best porridge they have ever tasted.
This is one of the 3 pots of Purple Hearts in my garden.
I caught sight of this bee sucking nectar from the flower.
Even though I was holding my hand phone near, it didn't disturb the bee.
It was too busy concentrating on what it was doing.
After taking these snapshots, the bees was still busy at work on that flower.
We are merely moving shadows,
and all our busy rushing ends in nothing.
We heap up wealth, not knowing who will spend it.
(Psalm 39:6, New Living Translation-NLT)
  14. I like your breakfast. Your congee must be super flavourful. 😋😋😋 Your hands must be very steady to be able to take such nice photos of the bee. The purple plant has such a nice shade of purple 💜 colour. Was there only one bee around? If yes, it is strange because there are supposed to have more bees since they fly non solo.
  16. I have not had beans and eggs since the last time I was camping! We did have them with Bratwurst for supper 2 nights ago though. The porridge looks terrific. And the Purple flowers are lovely! I was in the Okanagan yesterday and bought a case of cherries and made cherry jam today. It made the house smell terrific!
