Nasi Lemak mutton curry & Hokkien Fried Fat Noodle For Dinner

This was a Sunday. We woke up early but we didn't go for morning walk. We need to prepare ourselves for church.

Morning sky at 6:50am.
A friend sent me this beautiful moon shot.
Thank you friend for sharing your photos.

Dinner on a Sunday evening
at Restoran & Kafe New Weng Fatt, Ipoh Garden South, Ipoh.
We have tried this stall "Gurus Chapati & Curry Rice" on our 1st visit and enjoyed what we had.
We haven't tried this stall yet, will do so on our next visit.
We have tried this satay and we enjoyed what we had.
We have been wanting to try this. When I went to order, the boss apologized for not having wild boar curry that evening. So, I ended up ordering nasi lemak with mutton curry and chicken curry.
We have tried this stall before and I wanted to order Hokkien fried fat noodle again.
Nasi Lemak with mutton curry and chicken curry. The nasi lemak was served on a wax paper on a rattan tray.
Nasi lemak with mutton curry, chicken curry, egg, peanuts, fried anchovies, cucumber slices and sambal. We enjoyed the mutton because it was cooked till tender.
I love Hokkien fried fat noodle. Even though we have tried this before, I want to order this again. It had lots of crispy fried pork lard. Yums.
~~~~~
After dinner, we got into our car and we passed by a side lane. I saw mural on the wall and asked hubby to stop the car so that I could take some snap shots.
This is one whole mural but I couldn't get the whole mural in 1 shot. So I make the mural into 2 parts.
At that time it was evening and the lighting was not that good.
Linking to Monday Mural.
The Lord is my light and my salvation;
he protects me from danger - whom shall I fear?
Chapati With Mutton And Chicken Curries For Dinner
 Our day started as usual with a morning walk.
8:10am
After morning walk, we drove out to pick up our friends from a car service centre.
While waiting for our friends in front of the car service centre, we watch some cars being unloaded from this car transporter.
We met up with our friends again for dinner at Restoran & Kafe New Weng Fatt in Ipoh Garden.
We ordered the following in small portions from the chapati stall for 4 people to share.
Chicken curry.
Sardine curry.
Potato.
Cabbage
Chicken curry.
Dhall curry.
3 pieces of chapati.
We also ordered 10 sticks of chicken satay (grilled skewered chicken) but forgot to snap photo to show. All the above food is worth going back for.
On the way to our car, we passed by this bike.
I just had to stop to snap these photos.
Next, we drove to the Ipoh Stadium food court for dessert.
Hubby ordered corn cream with shaved ice.
Our friends ordered ice-kacang.
Our friend ordered crispy tofu with cucumber and yam bean salad for sharing.
We all enjoyed this very much.
Also a small plate of Chinese rojak for sharing.
When we ask the Lord's blessing upon our drinking from the cup
of wine at the Lord's Table, this means, doesn't it,
that all who drink it are sharing together the blessing of Christ's blood?
And when we break off pieces of the bread from the loaf
to eat there together, this shows that
we are sharing together in the benefits of his body.
Fried Beef Noodle & Beef With White Radish Soup
This was a Saturday morning. Lately, our breakfast has been confined to our regular coffee shops in our area. We only drive out to town when there is something to do and that is when we will have our breakfast in town.
Morning sky at 7:10am
Since we need to attend to something in town, we took the opportunity to drive out to Bercham for our favourite beef noodle. The last time we bought take away because dine-in was not allowed yet and that was a few months ago.
We ordered a bowl of beef soup (ngau lam) and I requested for the coriander leaves to be served separately because hubby doesn't like the smell of the leaves.
Generous serving of coriander leaves or cilantro.
A plate of rice vermicelli fried with beef slices. Sorry, this is only a third of the noodle because both hubby and I had spooned the noodle to our bowls before I realized I haven't taken a snapshot.
The noodle was very well fried and the beef slices still tender.
~~~~~
Dinner for 2 people.
We had a packet of mutton curry which hubby bought from an Indian rice stall in Bercham. This place was recommended by his friend.
Our neighbour blessed us with ABC soup, enough for 2 big bowls.
Hubby and elder son only drink the soup.
 All the soup ingredients went to my bowl. Younger son and I will clear the soup ingredients, so there is no wastage.

Then Jesus took the loaves and gave thanks to God
and passed them out to the people.
Afterwards he did the same with the fish.
And everyone ate until full!
"Now gather the scraps," Jesus told his disciples,
"so that nothing is wasted."
And twelve baskets were filled with the leftovers!

Salted Egg Yolk Cookies, Boiled Chickpea & Lazy Dinner

Last week, I had a breakfast appointment with 2 friends. We haven't met up for months since the 2nd movement control order. Hubby and I woke up early and we had plenty of time for our morning walk and returning home to get ready before driving out to meet my friends.

Sunrise at 7:45am.
My friends and I went to a new eatery to try curry noodle. We were busy talking and I forgot to snap photos of our breakfast. The curry noodle was like any average curry noodle and nothing special about it. On the drive home, we stopped to buy some cookies.
A rotating machine for toasting peanuts for making the cookies.
This machine removes the skin from the toasted peanuts.
My friend and I stopped to buy meat floss salted egg yolk cookies. The picture on the box shows cookies without meat floss. I think it is RM3 per cookie but I am not very sure.
I also bought the above snacks from the same place.
Boiled chickpeas for lunch.
I soaked the chickpeas in the morning before I went out.
~~~~~
I went into lazy mode.
I opened a can of mutton curry, blanched some home grown Brazilian spinach and cooked dried noodle for hubby. I cooked oat porridge for myself and ate most of the Brazilian spinach.
A friend shared with me the following photos of her flowering snake plant.
Photos credited to Shirley T.
Snake plant aka mother-in-law tongue plant.
Snake plants rarely flower.
When it does, it is usually because the plants growing in a flower pot is root bound.
Let your roots grow down into him and draw up nourishment from him.
See that you go on growing in the Lord,
and become strong and vigorous in the truth you were taught.
Let your lives overflow with joy and thanksgiving for all he has done.
