A Walk-In Factory Visit

Good morning! I am feeling cheerful today. After last night's downpour, the sky is much clearer and I can see the nearby hills. Early in the morning I was greeted by these sweet and lovely pink Dwarf Mexican Petunia blooms from my garden.
We were getting ready to go for breakfast at our friend's shop.
This is special wanton noodle, called the Tok Tok Wanton Mee,
not like the normal wanton mee you find in most coffee shops.
Ahhh! This one has special addition!
Crispy, freshly deep fried lard! Yums yums!
If you are curious to know where is this shop, click here for the address.
Later in the morning, I joined my friends for a walk-in factory visit.
We drove past a residential area and I snapped some nice fencing shots.
We were on our way to visit a woodworking factory.
All kinds of wooden moulds.
It is alright to visit during rest time.
When the workers are at work, wood dust will be everywhere.
Can you see the layer of fine wood dust on the working surface?
I was more interested in this giant jaw-like thing.
This reminded me of the movie "JAWS", directed by Steven Spielberg. After watching the movie, I dare not go swimming. That was many years ago.
Another object that caught my attention was this funny looking robot things. Someone was just trying to have some fun to brighten things up.
When I saw this, I remembered the cute robot in the factory.
This one has a nose but without eyes.

Linking to Good Fences.

"... Hear this, you foolish and senseless people,
who have eyes but do not see,
who have ears but do not hear:
Should you not fear me?" declares the LORD.
(Jeremiah 5:21-22a, NIV)

  3. I saw the Mexican petunias just a couple years ago for the first time...I think they are so pretty. I would also love to visit that factory.

Here on TV we have a show called "How It's Made', and it visits all kinds of places and shows how all kinds of things are made...from crackers, to needles, to baseball bats. Just everything. Our 6 yr. old granddaughter even likes to watch it.

Haha. I also think the robot was cute. As for jaw, the scene that most captured my memory had got to be when the guy scratched his nails on the blackboard to silent the quarreling couple. Hah. I could never put that out of my memory. JAWS! A classic.
