Expression Through Wall Paintings

Today I am putting up another post on wall murals again. As I was preparing the photos, thoughts came to my mind. Some of us can write so beautifully and express so well through words but some of us are not able to. Looking at the paintings, I wonder what these artists were trying to express through their work of art or wall murals.
For the past few days, we had thunderstorm and haze. Sometimes, we couldn't tell the difference between rain or haze.

The following photos were taken during the haze free days. Found this fencing surrounding the flats at Persiaran Bijeh Timah, Ipoh old town. Can you see the chain link fencing, almost as tall as the palm tree?

A jungle scene. Found this at the back lane parallel to Jalan Sultan Iskandar (formerly Hugh Low Street), Ipoh.

A fun time at the waterfall. Found this at the same place as the above.
Somewhere along Jalan Sultan Idris Shah (formerly Brewster Road), Ipoh.

Found this behind a shop, somewhere along the same road as above.

Found this at the back lane parallel to Jalan Sultan Iskandar (formerly Hugh Low Street), Ipoh.

This is also found along the same back lane as the above.

Saw this near a traffic light junction.
I captured this picture when I was in Hong Kong.
Found these butterflies in Gopeng.

  12. Hello Nancy!:) There are a lot of talented artists in the world who never get to show their work unless it's like this. It helps to brighten what would otherwise be a dingy dark and uninteresting place. I admire this work, and just love the butterfly and waterfall murals.

    1. Thank you, Breathtaking. Yes, it is so true. I am glad our town council allow these paintings on the wall. I like to keep these on my blog in case the paintings fade away in later years.

    1. Thank you, Terri. I think it is because of the basket ball court behind the fencing. It is to prevent the ball from going over the fencing that may cause any damages.
