Plant Sculptures & Fences.

One morning while driving past the roundabout at Persiaran Greenhill, I was attracted to some plant sculptures on the roundabout. I didn't have a chance to photograph the sculptures. Last week, we passed by this roundabout again and it was early in the morning with very light traffic.
Hubby stopped the car at the side of the road and I got down to take photos of these plant sculptures. (I just only learnt from my readers that this is called Topiary).
These pictures were taken from different angles.
Stainless steel fencing at the bank.
These are bougainvillea plants and they look like peacocks.
If I am not mistaken, there is the stainless steel fence behind the sculptures.
Great plant sculptures and fence.
Roundabout at Persiaran Greenhill.
Not much traffic in the early morning.
Roundabout at Jalan Silibin.
Sheet fencing around fruits & vegetables garden.

Linking to Good Fences.

But the godly shall flourish like palm trees and
grow tall as the cedars of Lebanon.
For they are transplanted into the Lord's own garden
and are under his personal care.
Even in old age they will still produce fruit and be vital and green.
This honors the Lord and exhibits his faithful care.
He is my shelter. There is nothing but goodness in him!
(Psalm 92:12-15, TLB)

  4. Peacocks? :) This kind of sculpture is so hard to maintain. Every week or so, one stray strand would pop up out of nowhere.

  7. They are marvellous, well done to those that care for them to retain the shape, and I see the wires are in place for one of the tails.

  9. I love those peacock topiaries. Someone is quite cleaver at shaping those with some type of wires armature. I wonder what kind of plants they use to sculpt these.

  13. An imaginative way of decorating the roundabouts. I like the way the peacock tails have been cut to give some open texture. When the topiary sculptures start to flower the display will look lovely.
