Sunday Fellowship Lunch At Tandoori Grill, Ipoh.

Just after last Sunday's celebration ended, a church friend approached us to invite us out for lunch. It is not always possible for us to have lunch together because some have to provide transport for those without transport. And for last Sunday, my church friends were available and it was a wonderful chance to gather for lunch and fellowship.
The one who invited us for lunch is the youngest of the four of us. She wanted to give us a treat at Restoran Tandoori Grill as none of us has been there before.
The outside looks neat and clean. No problem with parking as we were the 1st customers for lunch.
I am always the one who is taking my own sweet time with my camera.
Some useful information, if you are interested.
More information to take note.
Address: 9, Jalan Chin Choon San, Greentown,
30450 Ipoh. Tel: 05-2535995
As we passed through the main doorway, we were greeted by this art piece.
We had the whole place to ourselves. Choosing a comfy table for 4 people.
Since we were the only customers, I took a few snapshots before the other customers came in.
Floral arrangement.
Framed art piece on the wall.
Another framed art piece.
A corner of the restaurant.
We had plenty of time to go through the menu.
Crispy thin Papadum served with mint sauce.
Hmmm....these are great for snacks!
My Mango Lassi drink @ MYR 8 (approx. 2.07 USD).
The Mango Lassi with sprinkling of spices on it.
Mini sized Chapatis @ MYR 3 (approx. 0.78 USD) per piece.
Butter Naan, quartered @ MYR 5 (approx. 1.29 USD) per piece.
My favourite - Garlic Naan. Same price as Butter Naan.
Bread served in perforated metal dishes.
Palak Paneer - Spinach curry with Indian cheese.
MYR 18.90 (approx. 4.88 USD).
Prawn Masala @ MYR 36.90 (approx. 9.54 USD).
Chicken Tikka Masala @ MYR 20.90 (approx. 5.40 USD).
Mutton Madrasi @ MYR 28.90 (approx. 7.47 USD).
If you love mutton, this is a must order dish!
For a start, a bit of everything!
Food came in metal bowls with metal spoons.
And after our meal, we helped ourselves to some "mouth freshener" (slightly sweetened spices) as we made our way out.

A longing fulfilled is sweet to the soul,
but fools detest turning from evil.
(Proverbs 13:19, NIV)
