We were talking about the assam laksa in Bercham but nothing was planned and we left it at that. I have been rather busy lately and I totally forgotten about the assam laksa. While I was in deep concentration on something I was doing, a text message came through my smartphone. "What about the assam laksa?" "Are we going for laksa?"
So, here we were in Bercham. We found some tables placed along the five foot way of the row of shops. The rain started with a drizzle, and then it started pouring heavily.
Waiting for these young men to prepare our Penang laksa with the rain was pouring down around them. The laksa tasted exceptionally yummy. It is like eating in a natural air con place. Lol!
I only remembered about taking pictures after I have mixed the noodle and the ingredients together and was about to eat it. I quite like the taste of this assam laksa.
Some fried beancurd.
Super crunchy fried beancurd
This roasted pork was from a nearby van.
We also ordered 4 bowls of silky smooth tofu fah.
A most memorable ncluh rainy day feast.
At one time, our friend had to hold an open umbrella.
By the time we finished our lunch, the rain had slowed down.

My friend sent me pictures of her pet kitten.
This kitty really knows how to enjoy life.
Getting to lie in bed with a pillow under her head.
