Our Home Cooked Dinner On A Wet, Wet Day

A lovely sunrise greeted us at the recreational park. We woke up early, so we were at the park early too. It was just barely bright enough to see and follow the walking path.
Sunrise at 6.45 am
By 4.30 in the afternoon, it was raining heavily with loud thunder.
More rain and rumbling thunder!
I have to off my PC and pull out the power plug.

That evening, I cooked the following dishes for our dinner.
Steamed pork strips and Sichuan pickled salted mustard strips.
If you want to know what is pickled mustard, you can click here.
Diced French beans and egg omelette.
Blanched baby kai lan green.
A small portion of steamed brown rice for hubby, but none for me.
I finished off the rest of the omelette, steamed pork & veggie.

And I am sure that God who began the good work within you
will keep right on helping you grow in his grace until
his task within you is finally finished
on that day when Jesus Christ returns.

  3. Lately, we have lots of thunderstorm too, but no rain. That's a good reminder to unplug electrical power on such days. My husband got shocked when electric storm got thru his headset while working online - burnt the connection but hubby was unharmed.
