"So, where are we going for dinner today?" This was what we asked ourselves that evening as we got into the car. "Hmmm....how about Ipoh Restaurant?" "Okay, let's go!"
Most times it is easy to get a small table for 4 people but sometimes we have to wait. For this particular evening, we managed to find a table where the fan was blowing. These days the weather is very warm. This is one place where we need not have to wait long for our dinner to be served.
Braised melt in the mouth pork belly (dong po yoke)
4 pieces of steamed plain buns (mantau).
Break off a piece of the bun, before you eat dip into the gravy of the pork belly.
Chinese broccoli (kai lan) with fish paste/cake, prawns, meat slices.
Deep fried boneless chicken meat.
Cost of dinner incl rice & drink & 6% GST = MYR 59.35
That warm day started with this morning sky.
Sun rays shining through the clouds - 8.30 am.

Fence #2
Linking to Good Fences.
Dear, dear Corinthians, I can't tell you how much I long for you
to enter this wide-open, spacious life. We didn't fence you in.
The smallness you feel comes from within you.
Your lives aren't small, but you're living them in a small way.
I'm speaking as plainly as I can and with great affection.
Open up your lives. Live openly and expansively!
(2 Corinthians 6:11-13, The Message-MSG)
The fried chicken and steamed buns look very good! I like your last picture with the gate and beautiful trees; they almost look like bonsai.
