Lunch And Dinner On a Cloudy Day

We were passing by Pasir Pinji area and hubby suggested chee cheong fun (steamed flat rice noodle) for lunch. Good timing because the weather is not too warm to sit and wait for our lunch. Reached there to find that the waiting queue was not long. We were given a number and we found ourselves a place to sit and wait.
Our lunch, the famous Pasir Pinji chee cheong fun.
The texture of the noodle and sauce is different from others.
 For our drink, hubby and I shared this 100 Plus.
 Early morning sky at the recreational park - 6:50 am
Still not bright even though it was about 7:00 am.

I cooked the following for dinner for 2.
 Pan fried soy sauce prawns.
 Stir fried assorted home grown vegetables from my garden consisting of stubby okras, white bitter gourd, long beans, white and purple eggplants or brinjals.
 Japanese Koi
I took these snapshots during one of our holidays in Cameron Highlands.
 Japanese Koi in different colours.
Love the brilliant colours of the Japanese Koi.

Linking to Saturday's Critters.
As the light approaches,
the earth takes shape like clay pressed beneath a seal;
it is robed in brilliant colors.

  7. My daughter used to live in a condo, and all the condos surrounded these ponds that had half a dozen or so huge koi. Our granddaughter loved to watch them.
