Breakfast at Restoran Lou Fa Fa Lou (Restaurant 6886),
Bandar Baru Menglembu.
2 bowls of prawn noodles.
We asked for wonton noodle instead of yellow noodle.
Prawn noodle with 2 prawns, fish cake slices and half boiled egg. The extra half egg was from hubby's bowl and we added some fried beancurd sheet.
Fish crackers.
We also bought some fried snacks from this shop.
Fried crunchy bean curd sheet.
This is worth buying again on our next trip.
Green brinjal from my garden.
Dark purple brinjal from my garden.
~~~~~
Home cooked dinner.
I used both the green and purple brinjals for steaming. After steaming, I sprinkled garlic oil, oyster and soy sauce over the brinjals.
Steamed prawns with ginger strips, goji berries and raisin wine.
Steamed rice with steamed prawns and steamed brinjals.
Steaming is simple and easy and healthier.
Instead, we will lovingly follow the truth at all times - speaking truly,
dealing truly, living truly - and so become more and more
in every way like Christ who is the Head of his body, the Church.
Under his direction, the whole body is fitted together perfectly,
and each part in its own special way helps the other parts,
so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.
(Ephesians 4:15-16, The Living Bible-TLB)
By 7am, it was super bright over here. Haha. The sun is out early in the east.
ReplyDeleteYour brinjals are so cute. Round and dark colour.
Thank you, Rose. At 7am, it is only beginning to brighten up here.
DeleteBeautiful sky.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jim.
DeleteI envy your fabulous skies Nancy! Here it is rainy & grey....
ReplyDeleteThank you, Riitta. We will usually have grey sky and rain in the late afternoon.
DeleteI'm salivating...at the sight of the two bowls of prawn noodle!!! They look so good! How much is a bowl, actually? With such big prawns, they would not come cheap here, not at all!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, STP. Normal size bowl is RM6, big bowl is 7.50. I don't know the difference because I usually order the normal size. I don't know if there is an increase in price because I didn't check the latest price.
DeleteFabulous food and wonderful sky photos, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteThank you, Valerie.
DeleteHello Nancy :=) Your skies images are really beautiful, and I fancy every food dish on your post. I ate noodles with beans and pork yesterday. You grow many vegetables that I have never heard of, but they look so appetising that I'm sure I would like them,as all your home grown food is healthy food.
ReplyDeleteThank you and have a wonderful weekend.
DeleteThe last sky-pic is my fav.
ReplyDeleteSo sad I don´t like prawns. I think I would get hungry this day ;-)
Thank you, Iris. Not everyone likes prawns.
DeleteTudo com um aspeto delicioso.
DeleteGreetings and Salutations Nancy! Steamed food is suppose to be better for a person to eat. It tastes yummy when I steam rice and shrimp with or without spices. LOL!
ReplyDeleteI am beginning to appreciate and enjoy steamed food.
ReplyDeleteSteamed food with nice sauce is still delicious. So won't feel like it's a 'health' food.
ReplyDeleteAt least with the sauce it doesn't taste so plain and bland.
DeleteThe pretty skies and lovely fruit of your garden always make me smile.
