Lam Mee, Prawn Mee, Chicken Rice & Wild Boar Curry

We have been having overcast sky in the first half of the day and rain in the afternoon or evening.

Sunrise at 7:09am
On the reverse side, Kledang Hill covered with mist.
Mushroom by the roadside.
Mushroom by the roadside.
By 7:20am, most of the mist has gone.
Sun shining through the trees.
~~~~~
Dine-in lunch
Hubby ordered lam mee RM7.20
I ordered prawn mee RM7.60
Don't be mislead by the red colour, it was no spicy at all.
Takeaway Dinner
We bought claypot chicken rice from our regular place. There were chicken, Chinese sausage and a small piece of salted fish in the rice.
Hubby bought 1 portion of wild boar curry.
Sweet mango for dessert. It was a big mango. We each had half a mango.
God's laws are perfect.
They protect us, make us wise, and give us joy and light.
God's laws are pure, eternal, just. They are more desirable than gold.
They are sweeter than honey dripping from a honeycomb.
For they warn us away from harm
and give us success to those who obey them.
(Psalm 19:7-11, The Living Bible-TLB)
    1. Thank you, Rose. I don't have a claypot so if I were to cook at home, it will be in a rice cooker.
  4. Ooooo...mango! Expensive here alongside avocado, kiwi fruits...all my girl's favourites! She has expensive tastes! LOL!!!
    Not sure if I've tried lam mee before but you prawn mee sure looks good, broth looks thick and flavourful.
    Tried wild boar curry in KL before, just so so...like any other meat. We only buy good wild boar meat here (not all are good - depending on where they come from and what they eat) and we do not use it to cook curry as it will drown out its lovely fragrance and taste.
    Ohhh, the mango is my fav! Here... they´re never ripe or already mushy. Hence had my last one 2019 in Perth. Sad.
  9. Your food looks wonderful. Yesterday I made spicy potato wedges in the oven, but I made them very hot and spicy, less would have been better! Have a great day, hugs, Valerie
  12. We've had the same kinds of skies here. Clear, then cloudy and then rain. After the rain rinse and repeat.
    Oh the food. You're really showing some fabulous food. Yummy.
    Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
    Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday, Nancy. ♥
  17. The kledang hills look spectacular. The houses should be built facing the hills for a good nice view of the hills. Can u see the hills from your garden?
    1. To face the hills means the houses have to face west and will face the sunset which is not a good thing. Most houses are positioned to face either north or south. I can only see the hills when I am out on the road.
  23. Prawn with noodles looks delicious! When daughter and I went to a bazaar today, they had food to eat at lunch. She got tomato soup and she was able to taste other soup but too spicy for her and me. I wound up eating a small apple pie for lunch. Wish we knew what they would be serving. At least I was able to talk with a friend from bible study. She was eating with a friend. It has been raining and chilly these past few days. Have a good day!
