Monday morning, after our morning walk we went to Kedai Kopi Sin Choi Yuen for breakfast. I have not eaten Lor Mee for a long, long time so I wanted to try Lor Mee from the pan mee stall. Hubby doesn't like lor mee so he ordered fried dough or youtiao. Both of us ordered unsweetened black coffee.
My breakfast: Lor Mee with unsweetened black coffee.
I enjoyed this bowl of lor mee because the gravy is not too thick. The boss knows that I prefer noodle.

ReplyDeleteSame with me.
DeleteLove those long okra...and the lily plant looks really beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Angie.
DeleteNigdy nie jadłam solonych jajek pewnie sa pyszne. Piękne kwiaty. Miłego dnia:)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Lucyna.
DeleteLooks like a lot of noodles in the lor Mee. Did you drink all the broth / gravy as well?
ReplyDeleteThe portion of the noodle is small so I can easily finish the noodle. No, I didn't finish the thick broth.
DeleteLove photos of your garden. Is your house a detached house with garden surrounding all 4 sides?
ReplyDeleteThank you, Mun. It is a single-storey terrace house and my house has a side garden (they call it fire-break).
DeleteSo nice to have a side garden so your house is like an end lot with a side garden or a semi d cos only one side is linked to another house.
DeleteI think they call it corner terrace am i right?
DeleteI love to eat chives buds. Very tasty. Do both of you love to eat chives bud too?
ReplyDeleteYes, we love chives bud too.
DeleteWow! Very scrumptious dinner. Love your congee with pumpkin. Preserved fish with black beans is very appetising. Which brand do you buy? I used to buy great wall brand but no longer can find I think.
ReplyDeleteUsually hubby will buy the fish with black beans. Sometimes, he will buy eagle brand, sometimes big boy, and etc.
DeleteI noticed all 3 egg yolks have different colour. Did you both finish eating all 3 eggs? I am sure cannot finish the preserved black beans fish cos it could be quite salty.
ReplyDeleteWe finished all except the preserved black beans and fish.
Delete...I must say that I've never paid attention to chive flowers!
ReplyDeleteSometimes I will buy chive flowers to sauteed with garlic and prawns.
DeleteNice home cooked with freshly picked veggies and pretty white peace lilies!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jeevan.
DeleteWhat exactly is Lor Mee? I don't think I've ever had that. Love all you beautiful garden photos and dinner looks so good too. Have a nice day Nancy :)
ReplyDeleteIts an Asian noodle with thick broth. To get a clearer idea, you can google for "Lor Mee".
DeleteI love how you get so much food from your plants. It is always interesting to see. And that lily is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Rose. The produce is not much but enough for 2 people.
DeleteI love your garden.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Gigi.
DeleteOh the food. Yummy. Can you hear my stomach growling? I thought so.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day, Nancy. ♥
Thank you, Sandee. Have a fabulous day too.
DeleteIt is so nice and healthy that you cook with your own veggies.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Mimi. Whenever there is veggie available.

ReplyDeleteI managed to tidy up my garden during RMCO.

ReplyDeleteYou have great results from your garden, well done. Stay safe, Diane
ReplyDeleteThank you, Diane.
DeleteIn Malaysia if you don't like one thing, just order another haha. Food paradise indeed. I've never been a fan of lor mee either.
ReplyDeleteWe Malaysian are spoiled for choice. I learned to enjoy lor mee when I was staying in Sitiawan. Not easy to find good lor mee, some gravy are too thick for my likeing.
DeleteMe encanta ver tus comidas. Besitos.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Teresa.
