Lunch & Dinner at Restoran Kim Wah, Falim.

1st Visit - Lunch for 4 people.
On the 23rd December 2015, 2 days before Christmas, my golden girlfriends and I gathered for a year end lunch before we bid goodbye to the year 2015. There were a few suggestions but finally we all agreed on this place in Falim, Restoran Kim Wah that none of us has been to.
Starter - a complimentary soup from the restaurant.
Corn and pork rib soup.
A vegetarian dish - Chinese cabbage, bean curd puff, black fungus, mushroom & transparent vermicelli or bean thread noodles, cooked with lam yee (red fermented bean curd).
A small claypot of stewed oink oink trotter with ginger slices (chu keok wan).
"Melt in the mouth" BBQ oink oink (char siew)
We were served with complimentary tofu fah dessert at the end of our lunch.
Total cost of lunch for 4 golden girls = MYR 74.00 (approx. 17.20 USD),
(inclusive of rice, tea, moist towelettes & GST).

2nd Visit - Dinner for 7 people.
On Saturday afternoon, 2nd January 2016, while out on a social concern ministry, I received a call from one of my golden girlfriends. She informed me that her hubby invited hubby and I to a dinner at the same restaurant that we golden girls went to.
Stewed oink oink trotter with ginger slices (chu keok wan) in claypot.
Plain steamed fresh water prawns.
Stir fried baby Chinese Chard with garlic.
Steamed Fish with blended ginger paste.
 BBQ pork.
Roasted duck and roasted pork.
Thank you, Mr & Mrs LCK for a scrumptious dinner.

Thanks for sharing your meals with us on your blog . At my age, I think I would start to gain weights if I ate all that food every day.
