Breakfast Again At Kopitiam Poh Poh Place.

Breakfast on a Saturday morning for 5 people. This is my 2nd visit to Kopitiam Poh Poh Place, Laluan Perajurit 1, Taman Ipoh Timur, Ipoh. Our first visit was last month, on 2nd November. I enjoyed the Yuet Por Fun very much on the first visit. Yuet Por means women who are in confinement usually for 30 days after giving birth to their baby. The dishes they eat will be full of ginger and wine to take away the wind and bring back warmth to strengthen their health. This visit, I wanted to try the Tom Yam noodle.
Fried fish noodle for friend A.
1 big piece of fried fish, tofu, assorted veggie.
\Mixed pork and offal noodle for friend B
Yuet Por Fun for friend C.
She enjoyed every mouthful of this bowl of noodle.
Hubby also ordered the Yuet Por Fun.
Those who love some wine in the soup for extra oomph will love this.
I was adventurous, so I tried the tom yam noodle.
This tom yam version was not what I expected.
So for future visit, I better stick to the Yuet Por Fun.

  2. Your roses decorate your fence beautifully.

Sometimes when you try something new on the menu, you find a new favorite, and sometimes you regret not staying with what you know you like.

    1. Japanese roses need to be replanted regularly and take up a lot of fertilizer.

  6. My dad loves the noodles here. I have yet to try though. Once upon a time, the lady boss, Michelle, used to own a boutique somewhere nearby.

  12. It does look like what we would call comfort food. Nothing too rich. The flowers are beautiful, especially the Japanese roses. I have never seen them before, but I love their color.
