Since we had food in the fridge, we returned home for breakfast after our morning walk.
Sunrise at 7am.
I put water to boil to make hot drink and re-steamed the buns given by our neighbour.
We also had vegetarian roll which I bought from a roadside stall.
~~~~~
It was our dine-out night with friends. If we don't have any new suggestion, then we go back to one our favourite eateries. So back to Restoran Wong Sheng in Desa Rishah, Ipoh.
Fried Tilapia fish with special savoury sauce.
This is one of their signature dish.
Steamed taro with pork belly.
This is also their signature dish, a hot selling item.
Assorted vegetable with salted egg yolk.
The crispy lotus root slices is our favourite item.
Food is good and price reasonable.
I think for our next visit, we must make a point to order other new dishes to try instead of these same dishes.
Open air seating when the weather is good.
Evening sky at 7:45pm.
The above mural of a cat and a mouse is drawn on a school wall in Tanjung Tualang, Perak.
Linking to Monday Mural.
Blessed is the Lord, for he has shown me that
his never-failing love protects me like the walls of a fort!
(Psalm 31:21, The Living Bible-TLB)
Looks all so yummy again!
ReplyDeleteReally, I cannot remember when we went out to eat.
So many have closed down in COVID-times.
But reckon I have to invite Ingo to the steak house soon :-)
Love the mural, so cute!
Thank you, Iris. Now with less restrictions, more people are dining out and eateries are beginning to enjoy good business.
DeleteThank you Nancy for showing these delicious dishes. Good to dine Out regularly With Friends to keep the bonding strong while enjoying good food. Hope this Restoran Wong Sheng, Ipoh can make a profit with reasonable price for the dishes. The mural looks nicely drawn but I am scared of looking at rodents. Are you not afraid of rodents?
DeleteNice sky at sunrise. My daughter told me to come outside and look at purple area in sky near sunset on Monday. It was so beautiful. Better than being red sun due to smoke in area on Saturday, Food looks delicious and I need to get a snack and drink some tea as it's getting late. Hugs and blessings,Becky
ReplyDeleteThank you, Becky. Easier for me to catch the sunrise. I should try to capture more sunset. Hugs and blessings to you.
DeleteThank you, Francisco.
ReplyDeleteAll the dishes look good but can't imagine how the special sauce for the fish tastes like. :) Always a dilemma whether to stick to tried-and-tested favourites or check out a new dish!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Stacy.
